# ComputeX

## What is ComputeX?

ComputeX is a decentralized mining protocol on BNB Smart Chain (BSC, Chain ID 56) that allows users to mine $CMP tokens using their local compute power. Unlike traditional crypto mining that requires specialized hardware, ComputeX supports three mining modes:

- **Browser Mining**: Mine directly from any web browser at computex.work with no downloads or hardware required.
- **CLI Mining**: Install the `computex` npm package and mine from the terminal for advanced users and automation.
- **AI Agent Mining**: Deploy autonomous mining agents that optimize compute cycles and earn $CMP automatically.

## How Mining Works

4. Valid proofs earn $CMP token rewards.

Mining difficulty adjusts dynamically based on network participation. Rewards are distributed per valid proof submission.
